The Royal Guild of Defence
Combined Guilds Day
The Combined Guilds Day is an annual event hosted by the Guild, in conjunction with the Worshipful Company of Broiderers.
The event is hosted in Sydney on an even numbered year, and in Canberra ACT on an odd numbered year. This is mostly due to the high memberships both Guilds have in those 2 cities.
The purpose of the event is to have informal day full of classes, lessons and discussions. The evening includes a celebration feast in which the Guilds can mix and enjoy each others company.
The Guild also frequently takes the opportunity to play prizes for advancement.
All Guilds are invited to participate and organise their own teaching streams at the event.
Coordination for the event is typically through the Lord Guidmaster and the head of the Worshipful Company of Broiderers.
